This Privacy Policy describes how Clarity Point LLC ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Presently mobile application (the "App"). By installing or using Presently, you agree to the practices described below.

The short version

Presently does not collect, transmit, or share your personal data. The App has no internet access. Everything you configure stays on your phone.

1. Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. The App does not request the internet permission and cannot send data to any server. All data the App uses is stored locally on your device. Specifically, the App stores the following information on your device only:

• Blocked app selections — the package names of apps you choose to block (e.g., com.instagram.android).
• Lock settings — your timer durations, schedules, and unlock method preferences (PIN, NFC, timer, parent controls).
• PIN hashes — your lock PIN and parent PIN are stored only as salted cryptographic hashes. We never store or see your actual PIN.
• NFC tag IDs — the hardware identifiers of NFC tags you pair for unlocking.
• App usage patterns — achievement progress and unlock history (e.g., consecutive days blocked) used only to display your streaks within the App.
• Preferences — theme selection and personalization choices.

2. How We Use This Data

All locally stored data is used solely to operate the App's blocking and unlocking features on your device. The data is never transmitted, uploaded, shared, sold, or made accessible to us or any third party.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

Presently does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or account credentials
• The content of your apps, messages, or notifications
• Analytics, crash reports, or usage telemetry
• Advertising identifiers or device identifiers
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, files, or media

4. Permissions and How They Are Used

Presently requests the following permissions to perform its core function of blocking apps you select:

• Accessibility Service — Used to detect when you open a blocked app so Presently can display a block screen. The service reads only the package name of the app in the foreground. It does not read, collect, store, or transmit the content of your screen, text you type, or any other data within your apps.
• NFC — Used to read NFC tags you physically tap to unlock your blocked apps. No tag data leaves your device.
• Notifications — Used to show you status notifications about active blocking sessions. No notification content is collected.
• Foreground Service — Keeps the monitoring active so that blocking continues while your screen is on. No data is transmitted.
• Receive Boot Completed — Restores your blocking schedule after your device restarts. No data is transmitted.
• Package Visibility (Queries) — Used to display the list of apps installed on your device so you can choose which to block. The App queries only apps that have a launcher icon and does not share this list with anyone.

5. Third-Party Services

Presently does not integrate with, use, or send data to any third-party service, SDK, analytics platform, advertising network, or cloud backend.

6. Data Security

Because all data is stored locally on your device and the App has no network capability, the risk of data interception or breach is inherently minimized. PINs are additionally protected by salted hashing, meaning they cannot be reversed to recover your actual PIN.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Since we do not collect or store any data on our servers, there is no data to retain or delete on our end. All data created by the App exists only on your device. To permanently delete all data, simply uninstall Presently — all locally stored settings, hashes, and history will be removed automatically.

8. Children's Privacy

Presently is designed for users who want to manage their own app habits. The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. A parent or guardian may use the App's parent control features to manage app access on a shared device, but no personal information is collected in doing so.

9. Your Rights

Because Presently stores no personal data externally, you have full control over your information at all times. You may review, modify, or delete all App data at any time through the App's settings or by uninstalling it.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version on this page.
